Northampton County is pleased to introduce Theresa Scott, as the new Director of Aging.

Theresa is a resident of Northampton County. Over the last four years she has help serve the citizens of Northampton County through her recent role as a Certified Deputy Register of Deeds. In this role, Theresa made history by becoming the first Certified Deputy Register of Deeds in the history of Northampton County.
In 2020, Theresa became one of Northampton County Board of Education newly elected board member. Her service in this role has allowed her positive attitude and tireless energy to help encourage and change the lives of our children. Theresa has served in a supervisory capacity in several different industries. Both her past and present leadership skills has afforded her the ability to make good sound judgment decision in her new role at the Senior Center. Her visionary perspective and contagious optimism will help make the Senior Center a success.
Theresa cherishes her role as a mother. She is inspired daily by her daughter and two sons. She is deeply committed to her work in the ministry. She humbly serve as Pastor of Kingdom Ministries Worldwide, Inc. of Scotland Neck N.C.
Determined to level the playing field, she embarked on an entrepreneurial journey becoming one of North Carolina’s newest Real Estate Agent. You can find Theresa in her spare time enjoying her wonderful children, shopping, or reading.
