     The Northampton County Health Department is working hard to protect and improve the health of the people who live in our community. From childhood shots to septic tank system inspections, it provides a wide range of services to meet the needs of our citizens.
     It's a big job but our team of health care professionals is able to meet the challenge. The team includes the Board of Health, Health Director, Nurses, Nutritionists, Maternity Care Coordinator, Health Educators, Environmental Health Specialists, Rabies Control Officer, Laboratory Staff, Management Support Staff, and Social Workers.

Rabies Clinic
School Health:

General Clinic:

Home Delivered Meals:
  • Noon meals delivered to eligible homebound persons aged 60 and over (Approval required)

    • Lives in Northampton County
    • Is in need of skilled care
    • Is under the care of a doctor
  • Home Health Care offers skilled care as follows:
    • Skilled Nursing
    • Physical Therapy as ordered by physician
    • Speech Therapy as ordered by physician
    • Occupational Therapy as ordered by physician
  • Home Health Care offers support services as follows:
    • Home Health Aide as ordered by physician

Laboratory Support
  • The laboratory staff provides laboratory coverage and test results to all personal health programs and tests drinking water for the environmental health program.
