Overview

The mission of the Department of Codes and Building Safety is to provide construction permitting, inspection, enforcement, and related information to the Northampton County community. Our objective is to ensure the safe and code-compliant construction of buildings, and to enforce building code compliance to provide safe, healthy environments in which to live, work and play.

Northampton County Planning and Zoning Department administers and implements regulations and ordinances adopted by the Northampton County Commissioners to guide the growth of the county while providing services to the citizens of Northampton County in a professional, customer friendly manner.
