The Finance Office maintains an accurate accounting of all Local Government resources, obligations and assets in accordance with general accepted governmental accounting principals and by policies adopted by the board of County Commissioners. The Finance Office receives and deposits all moneys accruing to Northampton County Local Government and disburses all funds as designated by the Budget Ordinance, Project Ordinances and as specified by North Carolina General Statute 159.
